The odds are against me.

So when we moved, I had hoped to keep up with blogging just as often. Well, turns out, moving and settling in keeps you quite busy and I haven’t been able to do it! Instead its been hit or miss, and I’ve been able to do it maybe once a week?

This week however, when planning our menu for the week, I decided I would get back on the bandwagon now that things aren’t quite as crazy. We headed to Seattle this past weekend and enjoyed some UH-MAZING food and restaurants, and I thought I’d share some pictures. (P.S. I’m obsessed with Seattle, it really is a food lover’s heaven)

I lovvved the produce

The husband wolfing down pizza (note: this is not Serious pie, he just felt the need to be a pizza connoisseur and try all)

The bad part about this whole thing, happens to be that while at work on friday, I decided to charge the camera battery for the trip, and “somehow” the camera got left on the ground. Where did that get me?? Well…I came home to a completely demolished camera, courtesy Mr. Peabody. Let’s just say angry doesn’t even begin to describe how upset I was. Luckily, we borrowed a camera for the trip…but now, NOW, how the heck am I supposed to blog?? Oh Peabody, if I didn’t love you so much, you may have been given to the Humane Society on friday :)

So, I say all this to say, again, I guess I’m going to be on a hiatus from blogging. The odds are against me! Uh, so frustrating, but I’m on the hunt for a new camera. I’m hoping it won’t be too long, but its tempting to wait for Black Friday for a super good deal.

So to hold ya over, and let you know I appreciate you reading, I’m giving away some Svelte Protein Drinks-4 flavors for you to try- courtesy Mambo Sprouts. Check back as we get closer to the holidays, as I will also be giving away some gift baskets and other goodies!

To win, just comment on this post with the craziest thing your pet has ever eaten. Peabody’s are a toss up between this camera and a blanket.

Have a great rest of the week!

Sorry about your camera. I’m sure Peabody didn’t mean to ruin your camera.
Seattle is a nice city to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there.

My cat eats dead bugs all the time. Gross. It’s better than what my parent’s dog eats though!

well, we don’t currently have one, but our first newlywed puppy ate the bathroom door in our rental apartment. and ‘tho she didn’t eat it exactly, my childhood kitty once proudly brought a trophy mouse to my bedroom as a little girl. and one of my kiddos once ate a cockroach on a dare. (‘course he’s not a pet… :) and he’d kill me for telling it!)

My sweet little LuLu (Bichon) chewed up two razor blades… didn’t cut her mouth and good thing she was hungry because the food surrounded the pieces and exited without causing any problems. My Vet has her xray on the wall of shame in her office… you should see what pets can eat!

Man, my grandmomma was Italian and she made the most incredible meatballs I ever tasted, like you had died and gone to meatball heaven. Sadly, she didnt leave a single recipe for me so I’ve been trying to figure it out on my own… slowly working my through the meatball recipe here, I still cant figure out what her secret ingredient was though!!!
